1. Do I have to wipe and format it it clean before I put it in the new pc, or when I install windows 10 will it give me the option to clear?

2. Can I use the same windows key as the one I'm using now?

Solution
You don't have to format it before installing Windows 10. Windows setup will detect the previous "Windows" folder so It might ask you to do a repair. You can choose advanced options and format it during setup. You can reuse a retail Windows 10 key. You can also reuse the Windows 10 activation from your old PC if you upgraded from a previous OS and have Win 10 version 1511 installed. Thanks, but does that mean I don't have to wipe the hard drive to put it in the new pc?
