I recently put I GTX 1060 3gb graphics card into my Dell Inspiron 3847 I want to upgrade my case, so I was wondering if the front panel connectors would work with this motherboard since dell usually makes their hardware hard to upgrade. and if it were not to be compatible with a new case what motherboard could I use to replace it and reuse my same CPU? and are their any other components in this pc that I could not remove and reuse because I plan on gutting the computer and reusing all the parts? I also put a corsair CX 550m power supply.

Solution
- Dell 3847 has a a micro-ATX motherboard 88DT1 with standard stand-off screw layout, it uses a special power/reset button that has special wiring to the motherboard front I/O connector which is standard pins so it should be compatible with different case power/reset/HDD buttons/leds
- Your Corsair PSU is decent especially if it's gray label (newer improved version of the CX 550m) if it's the green label one an upgrade is strongly advised but not urgent.
