Putting motherboard into a new case, help with connecting..

Hello, could someone please tell me where to put these wires? I was told to put it in what i circled in the picture, but I don't know where to put it.

and my case is the enermax corneus.

And does anyone know what PCI this is? I believe it was connected to my lights and possibly my card reader..not sure if I need it to operate my motherboard haha..

The OEm motherboard doesn't use a standard pin-out for the front pannel buttons and LEDs, you'll need to trace the wires on the original case from the button/led to where it plugs into the motherboard. The card in the 2nd picture is a pci-e 1x wireless card.

Ok thanks! Could you tell me what the pci wireless card is for and if I need it? As for the wires on my original case.. the wires are different so they go in a different slot with more pins..would I still move those power led and switch there? Maybe i'll just go buy a new motherboard..trying to save money if possible though

When connecting case headers to your motherboard the best route would be to look at your motherboard manual or find one online to see where the connections go.

The pci card looks like it may be a wireless card. allowing desktops to connect via router.

Thanks for that tip, although it's been like 4 or 5 years since I've had this computer, so only god knows where that manual went.. didn't care for it since I never thought I'd be taking stuff out of it. I couldn't find any manual's online, closest thing was the link I have on my first post.

Oh and thanks for explaining about the PCI.

Yea, it'll take a long time to connect the case headers to the mobo if it's not labeled (most old pc's don't have it labeled) to see what works and what doesn't. You're out of luck if you're trying to look for directions.

Ah I see.. well I tried plugging it in random places..and someone told me to put it in where I circled in the picture up there..it lite up at first..and then I removed what I now realized was the jumper..and plugged the power switch in there..now nothing lights up. Any idea if I just screwed myself over?

Those 3 pin connections you circled don't look like case header connectors at all. They look like case fan connectors.

Look for something like this
