[SOLVED] Putting noctua case fans on my 2060 - do I have the instructions right?

So I am doing my research and it seems simple enough.
I currently have the 2060 ko ultra
I want to buy 120mm noctua fans and ziptie strap them to the gpu.
So, how do I control these fans according to the gpu temps?
I don't want to plug these into the motherboard directly and then use argus monitor cause I don't want to pay a yearly license to use that software.
So it seems that people recommend buying something like this pwm cable thing idk and then plugging the fans into that adapter thing.
My question is that, is it as simple as taking the gpu apart, plugging that adapter into the fan header (on the gpu pcb) and then plug in the 2 noctua fans in the end of the adapter? And then I can use msi afterburner to control the noctua fan speeds according to gpu temps? Sorry if this is unclear, I am sort of confused my self.
I have also seen some people talk about voltage differences between the fans and the gpu. Will the fans I have selected be fine for my gpu?

You are more likely to damage your GPU than you are to gain any cooling performance.

What issue are you trying to solve?
