I'm building my first desktop, mainly for music production some video editing and some gaming.
I've done a lot of research over the last couple days and I've decided that I'm going to go with the

ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813131759

Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819115072

CORSAIR Professional Series Gold AX850
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817139015

Is that a good combo so far?
with the maximus iv gene-z mobo, will i be able to add a nice video card? as well as adding sound card?
there is so much to choose from, but would be the rest of the parts to add to make this a good build? ram, ssd etc.

Thanks,

you have 2 PCI-E slots on that mobo and 1 PCI, but by the looks of it, you would only be able to fit one gfx card and a sound card

for ram you could go with http://www.corsair.com/memory/intel-memory-upgrades/dual-channel-intel-memory-upgrade-kits/vengeance-4gb-dual-channel-ddr3-memory-kit-cmz4gx3m2a2000c10.html

i would suggest http://www.corsair.com/memory/intel-memory-upgrades/dual-channel-intel-memory-upgrade-kits/cmx4gx3m2a1600c9.html

you wont really need a SSD, i would go with a hardrive, cheaper and larger (in most cases larger)

do you have a case?... Im not very good with cases

PSU, its a little overkill but http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/cmrpp750/

your links broke so heres a link to the mobo http://ca.asus.com/en/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/Maximus_IV_GENEZ/#specifications
