PWM Fan Hub Question

Okay, so I'm about to assemble my new build and I'm confused about a PWM fan hub and where to plug it in to properly control my fans. Here's the build

AMD Ryzen 1800X
MSI X370 Titanium Motherboard
G.Skill Trident Z 16gb ram
Galax GTX 1080 HOF
NZXT Kraken X62
2x Noctua NF-A14 fans for the Kraken X62
3x Corsair ML140 PRO fans
WD Black HDD 2tb
Samsung 850 evo 250gb SSD
Silverstone PWM Fan Hub
EVGA Supernova 850 P2
Phanteks Enthoo Pro M case

Alright, so the motherboard has a CPU_Fan1 header and thats where the Kraken X62 would be plugged into. So I was reading online that for in order for the Silverstone PWM fan hub to work and control the fans properly, it has to be plugged into the CPU_Fan1 header. The motherboard only has one, but there's also a Pump_Fan1 header. Would I be able to plug the fan hub into that header and be able to control my case fans? Or does it HAVE to be plugged into the CPU_Fan1 header? I'm confused, I've never used a PWM fan hub before

The PWM Fan Hub will work as intended as long as it is plugged into a TRUE PWM header (or a fan header in PWM-mode set in BIOS) which has its 4th-pin providing PWM signal to the Hub. Note that not all 4-pin fan headers in all motherboards are true PWM, as some have its 4th-pin not electronically connected (i.e., DC-mode).

Your Msi motherboard has all its fan headers configurable to run in either PWM-mode *or* DC-mode in BIOS. You can then plug the PWM Fan Hub into ANY of your mobo's 4-pin fan headers, provided, such 4-pin header is set in PWM-mode (not in DC-mode). If the header is set in DC-mode, the Hub would run the fans at full speed (due to constant supply of +12V from the SATA power) and you may not be able to control the speed of the fans due to the lack of the required electronic connection on the 4th-pin (PWM signal).

So I would be able to configure any fan header to PWM mode and thats it?
