PWM Fan Problems

I Have a Corsair 750d Air Flow Edition, and a H100i.

I am trying to control the fans through the asrock z370 extreme4 Bios, Advanced settings. When i do a fan test 2 of my fans spin and stop normally however the 3rd fan just spins at Full Speed.


Using the 3 Fans which come with the corsair 750d i am having Problems controlling One of the fans on PWM Mode, I have successfully changed 2 of my fans mode to Silent from standard, However the other chassis fan i can't change, unless i change the fan mode to DC when its on DC it runs fine.

Am i doing something wrong? Would there be any Problems Running the fans on DC? would it consume alot more power?

It sounds like your 3rd fan is a DC fan. If it only has 3 pins on the connector, it's a DC fan.

And no, there are no problems running a DC fan in DC mode. In fact, that's how they are designed to be run.

All the 3 Fans are the same Corsair Fans which Come with the 750d Case.

IIRC, those are AF140s, which are DC fans. How many pins on the fan?
