PWM Fan Splitter Hub

Hi Guys so I want to buy a pwm fan splitter hub for my new build (Commander FP PWM 10 Port Fan Splitter Hub).

This hub is powered by the PSU and then the hub connects to the m/b, am I right in thinking the best slot to plug this into is the PWR connector on my m/b?.

I don't want the fans to run and full speed you see .
