can u make sure certain fans stop under a certain cpu/system temperature with PWM?

I am going to instal watercooling into my pc, and i was wondering if i could stop the non-rad fans to a dead stop when the temp is beneath a certain temperature.

My motherboard is an Asus Sabertooth X79 and the fans that would need to be controlled to a dead stop are Noiseblocker NB-Blacksilent XLP - PWM 120mm Rev.3 - 2000 rpm.

And is there any other way to completely stop the fans? Maybe through software?
Ive seen it done in someone's build, but cant seem to achieve it for myself.

Kind regards
Tom

No there is no such software to stop fans cz there are no switches embedded in the mobo to make them switch on and off

U can get a fan controller like this

But even with a fan controller i cant make my fans stop under a certain temp, because the fan controller cant read my mobo's temps?

So there is no way i can make them stop automaticaly? Maybe i could make them work on load %'s instead of temps?

Thanks for al the fast answers!

Kind regards
Tom

Most of the fan controllers doesnt come with option of making the fan off this was the reason i gave u d link for dat specific fan controller

I dont think setting it to load will work u can just put them to minimum speeds but no make them turn off but its worth giving a try
