PX2370 not working after turning off the power

the LED monitor doesn't load the video when i turn it off and turn it on again and also when i use the power options in the computer to turn off the monitor when idle.

its like the samsung LED doesn't see the source it had before. the only way i could get it back on is to restart my computer.

is this a problem with my video card or some settings on my samsung LED?

Try setting your input option to manual instead of auto. The built in OSD should come up regardless of video signal (of course unless there is no power connected). If that doesn't work I think there may possibly be a way to "hard reset" the monitor through some button holding or something like that.
