Earlier discussion on the topic at this site is here: Upgraded to a GTX1070, "PXE-E01: PCI Vendor and Device IDs do not match!"

There was no solution, and no reply in several years, so members suggested I post afresh.

Same message (PCI Vendor and Device IDs do not match) is appearing on my Gigabyte B365M GAMING HD (rev. 1.0) motherboard bought yesterday. (i5 L8 CPU + 2x8 DDR4 RAM)

Actually the message comes and disappears so fast at boot that I couldn't read it fully, just made out some words and searched on google to land here. There are not many hits at google.

I previously had Gigabyte B360M GAMING HD motherboard for 3 years, but this message had never appeared. It is not giving any problem, everything is working fine, it just irks that there is something not in place.

GPU-Z shows this. I am surprised that so many fields are empty. Why is Memory size N/A? It is 16 GB.

I haven't flashed bios yet.

Any solution?

to add an afterthought:

I had windows 8.1 working on harddisk earlier on my earlier motherboard (B360M), and I put the same hard disk on new CPU+Motherboard(B365M)+RAM combo, and it is all working fine, except for that message.

Can that be the reason for the message and the empty fields above in GPUZ? Need I reinstall windows afresh on my HDD to work well this new combo?

Thanks.
Moving an OS from one motherboard to another can cause all sorts of "unexpected" errors. IMO, they are not unexpected because the OS was configured for different hardware.
