Q about GTX 560 and a cooler

Hey guys my nvidia is GTX 560 and i found a cooler for 570 and 580 But some one told me it can be with 560 too

So my Q is it true or not i dont wanna buy it before i make sure for it

To be really honest. If you have a working cooler you don't need a new one. Otherwise it should be just fine. the GTX560 is a bit smaller than the 570 and 580 though. I don't know if that will be a problem. It probably will, so make sure it's compatible with the model you have.

yes, Make sure it has sufficient cooling power for that card, because it ain't no cool running card without a good cooler. That thing is pure power in a small package.

I looked at the mfgr's specs on that cooler and it specifically states designed for 570 and 580 cards. Maybe it will fit, maybe it won't. You will just have to do more research or hope you can return the cooler if it doesn't fit.

The mounting hole dimensions for the GTX 570 and GTX 580 are larger than the GTX 560.

If you want an after market cooler for your GTX 560 I can recommend this (have it on my reference GTX 460). Its awesome for overclocking and relatively easy to install.
