Q-Code 00 (Not Used)

Hi,
I built my PC about a month ago.

M/B: Asus Z97 Pro
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K
PSU: Thermaltake SmarT M750W
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (1600 Mhz)
SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 250GB
HDD: 7200 / 1TB
Case: ThermalTake Chaser A21

everything was working fine. And the led display on my motherboard was always displaying A0 code.

today I noticed that when my system boots the display shows 00. Everything works fine, but I am still worried. Is something wrong? if yes, then why is it displaying 'Not Used' error?

I have exactly the same problem as yours. I will email asus support soon. You should also.

00 means no cpu detected by bios. try to reseated, or clr cmos

I tried everything. Even put mb out of the case. disconnect every cable and component and reassemble again. Nothing helped.
But today when I turned it on it was fixed. I dont know how or why but it displays A0 again. I'm really interested in what was causing that error. I guess I'll never know for sure :d

Is it possible that the cpu is not detected even we were able to login to windows normally?
