[SOLVED] Q Code 18

I've just tried to boot my new rig, and it locks up on Q Code 18.
So I moved around the memory, used one stick, multiple sticks, no difference.

I pulled my old RAM from my old rig, and that seems to get me further, at first, but it ends up giving me Q-Code 55 (after being stuck in A0 for a while), Memory Not Installed.

Putting the 2133MHz back in the old computer, there's no problem.

I tried the MemTest button, it just goes through the tests on both the new Trident-Z and the older generic 2133MHz stick and gets stuck on the same error codes.


Setup:

ASUS ROG Maximus X Code
G.SKill Trident-Z 3600MHz CL17
Intel Core i9 9900K
850W Corsair RM850x
MSI 2080Ti

Try using the Flashback to update the board's BIOS for supporting that CPU. If not sure how to, post back.

the ao refer to drive this board have a mem ok button so use 1 stick of ram in slot 2 then press it page 1-11 for safe boot button then page 1-13 do you see any that stay on below the q code led check this all from board user manual it alos need bios 1704 for this cpu .
