Hey guys, basically I think that my graphics card is fried and maybe my cpu, i'm wondering if I can do anything about that. Here is some back story;

2 days ago there was a power outage in my area, my rig was turned off and plugged into a power strip surge protector.

I came home and noticed that the power was back on so I turned on my pc and everything was fine for the duration of that session.

I turn it off for 21 hours, come back after work, turn it on and get a boot loop that goes like this; Tries to start up, instantly reboots, tries to start up again and gets stuck at q code 34.
These are the codes that I remember seeing;
23 / 25 / 61 / 63 / 67 / 5a / 32 / 34 and I think 9c. The mobo also read AA & 99 if that even matters.

Also, the surge protector has one led by the power switch which is lit up in red. That doesn't seem good but it may have always been red, I don't remember.

Anyway, I started removing components and fiddling with settings;
changed out the ssds for a mechanical hd (didn't help) also a different ssd (didn't help)
changed out the ram for a different brand (didn't help)
tried individually testing each ram stick that I had installed (didn't help)
reset my cpu oc and bios settings with cmos button. (didn't help)
This whole time my tv was saying that there was no hdmi connection although there was one.
I guess it finally picked up a connection because it stopped saying that and just started displaying a black screen.
My hdmi cord has led indicators on to show how much power is being pushed through it i'm guessing. The settings are SD \ 1080p \ 4K. It says that the quality is SD with the led indicator flickering. It should say 4k with a solid light.

I put everything back together and resart the pc, in doing so I realize that the MemOk light wasn't on like I thought, which is why I started taking out components in the first place. It was actually the #3 pcie slot led that was lit. That is where my gpu is slotted.

So I remove the gpu and restart. This makes the pcie led turn off but the vga led is still on, probably because there is no gpu installed?

With all of this nonsense i'm basically just trying to figure out what's broken, why it broke and what I can do to fix it. I think putting in a new gpu would be the easiest way to do this but I don't have one. I'm about to rma the one that seems to be messed up I think. Hopefully it falls under warranty.

Here are my specs;
Asus rampage iv black edition motherboard
i7 4820k cpu
Corsair h100i water cooler
2x 250 gb samsung evo ssds
1200 watt rosewill photon psu
MSI twin frozr gtx 980 ti 6gb
32gb corsair vengeance 1600 mhz ram

Thank you all for your time and any input you can give.

Thank you for that informative thread but I highly doubt that the pins are bent on my cpu. I can imagine that the motherboard may have shorted out though. The one thing I can't figure out is reason for q codes hanging up on different reboots. One time it'll stop at 34, another it will be AA. It seems like those were the two that it would always stop at when I was doing all of this last night.

While searching google i've found people saying that I should reseat my gpu in a different slot and make sure my power connectors are properly plugged in. I guess error code 34 has to do with that. I think AA is pretty far into the boot process so that seems like a good sign. I will fiddle around some more tonight and post my results.
