I finally finished my new hard line water cooled build. I started it up for its first post, but got a Q-Code of d7. I connected an older keyboard and then the Q-Code changed to d6. Nothing is showing on the monitor. I checked all the power supply connections on PSU and mother board. They all look good.
Anyone know what could be wrong?
New PC specs:
Z690 Hero motherboard
i9 12900K
2 x DDR5 32GB 5600MHz
1200W PSU
Update: I knocked the USB 3.2 header cable loose somehow and I do not think the GPU PCIe cable was fully seated in the slot. The PC will now post, but I still get the d7 Q-Code though. I think it is because I have no keyboard and mouse connected. Am I right?
Update 2: I filled the loop with coolant and connected everything back, connected a keyboard, and now it is back to the Q-Code d6. It does not post either. I do not know what the heck is wrong with it now.
