Tenstones Distinguished Sep 9, 2008 10 0 18,510 Sep 13, 2008 #1 I have a G0 Q6600 currently running at 2.66 (until my xiggy gets here) Using Real Temp 2.7, I'm currently idling at 35 35 30 37 The 3rd core is always lower than the other 3 is that normal? I'd really like to get all 4 at the lower temp

B balloonshark Distinguished May 21, 2008 46 0 18,530 Sep 14, 2008 #5 My 3rd core (core 2) is always lower according to Core Temp. I have 2 xiggys (s1283 and sd964) and my temps are normally 35,34,28,33. When under load the last 2 cores were always lower. Have you calibrated Real temp? It's fairly easy to do and shouldn't take long. http://www.techpowerup.com/realtemp/docs.php
