Q6600 cooling advice

Planing on buying a Q6600 and probably overclocking it to 3.0 or 3.2. So...

What cooler would you recommend?

Will the Asus Silent-Knight II do?

Zalman 9500, Freeze pro 7, Tuniq Tower, Ultra 120 any of those above are excellent coolers for air cooling

Don't forget Big Typhoon, Scythe Ninja/Infinity.

liquid is not a necessity in getting 3.0, some people hit 3.6 ez on air

Dont get the Zalman. Its over rated. I have the 9700 and I'd dump it for a Thermalright anyday of the week... Infact I think I'm going to buy one now.

I think I'm going to go with a Tuniq Tower 120. I like it more 😛. Has anyone experienced problems with it? I mean this thing is massive, will it fit in a P182? The mobo I'll buy will be a Asus P5K Deluxe WiFi.
