Q6600 In Optiplex GX620

I purchased a Q6600 for my Dell Optiplex GX620 and installed it. All of the fans started but the powerbutton turned orange. I reinstalled the Pentium 4 and it worked fine. Any help?

i don't believe that model supports that processor, I *think* but not positive that it doesn't support higher than the Pentium D dual cores
