Q6600 OC still spanks SkullTrail!!

Woohoo!, good ole Q6600 @ 3.5Ghz can still spank Penryn based SkullTrail 8 core in 3DMark06, not by much but still.

First of all, there is no reference to any chipset or processor model at all in that screen shot, secondly there is absolutely no way that a Kentsfield will beat any Quad Core 45nm processor clock for clock. The Q6600 in there is yours I am guessing and it is clocked WELL above the other two... Not only is this comparison most likely not what you say it is, but it is also incredibly unfair to the lower clocked processors... n00b.

Naw, your the noob, Intel has demoed a two cpu (two quads) at IDF, Kenstfield running at 3.45Ghz with dual 8800GTX's, 8 cores total. Dual socket board is called SkullTrail. Their overall 3Dmark06 was like 17,060 or there abouts with this setup. Not apples, apples since their memory design is slower and 3Dmark06 is more a measure of GPU performance but CPU is weighed in.

8cores atm IMO is absolutly poitless, 4cores is pointless enough atm lol.

Just wait until the true 8core ones come out, rahter then buying some specific motherboard that needs FB-DIMM's.
