Hi, I just got my computer yesterday and i decided to overclock it. When i went to bios I changed the FSB to 333 and the cpu multiplier said it was at 9X so 9X333= 3 ghz. So then i went to cpuz to make sure it was working. CPUZ told me I had a 6X cpu multiplier and that I'm running at 2.00 ghz. Who should i trust, the bios or cpuz?

Hi, I think I have a similar problem with . I'm using 2 PC (one a C2D at home and a C2Q at work). Though I'm still not inclined on OC'ing the C2Q, I'm wondering why the C2Q is just a bit faster than my C2D (based on SuperPi results which is a just second faster (C2D @ 3GHz). What recommendations can you give? here's my CPU Z validation ID : 429260 for the C2Q. Thank's Guys and more power.
