I know this isnt the best processor but it was free.

I cant get past an FSB of 410. At 415 machine crashes before windows finishes booting

I have 4gb of OCS - DDR2-1066 (PC2-8500) set to 5-5-5-15
This ram is sweet and should be able to run a lot higher.

Vcore is set to 1.3, max on this mobo a Asus P5QL/EPU there is an aditional seting to add from 50 -150mh to the Vcore.
Thermaltake 500w PSU

Am I missing something, It seem that I should be able to get a stable fsb of 425 or maybe a 450.

Should I run this ram at the stock 5:5:5:15 or is 5:7:7:20 better? I am very new to OCing ram.

That's really not bad for a Q8200.

I think that it is counterproductive to try to overclock RAM on a Core2 system. You will get a greater performance increase by reducing your memory timings.

We discuss that here:

And while I am talking about memory, let me say, "There ain't no such thing as DDR2-1066 RAM." Got your attention now, yes? :) DDR2-1066 RAM is simply DDR2-800 RAM that has been tested to run at the higher speed, usually at an increased voltage and more relaxed timings.
