isnt the multiplier supposed to be at 7.5x? in the bios it will let me change the multiplier but i cant put a "." after i push 7 to make it 7.5.
if anyone knows what to do its greatly appreciated. also i disabled speedstep and c1e (whatever that is) and the core clock is at 2.3GHz, with 7x multiplier. so if any can tell me how to make it 7.5 its again greatly appreciated.

You have a 650i chipset mobo, and some older mobos don't support .5x multipliers. That's most likely the issue, unless there's something important I'm not thinking about.

well i went back to the bios and set the multiplier to 8x and when i opened cpu-z it showed the multiplier at 7.5x. so that should be ok right? everythings running fine and it reading 2.6GHz (i set fsb from 333(2.5GHz) to 350 and it oc'ed to 2.6GHz)
