I just built a new system with a Q9400 CPU. I am idling around 45-47 C, and while playing Left 4 Dead reaching temperatures around 60-65C. I had to reinstall my CPU heat sink a couple of times because of the snaps not fitting correctly, so i cleaned off the thermal paste provided with the sink, and used some best buy brand stuff. The heat sink is mounted correctly now and running at the above temps. Is this normal for a Q9400 ?? Any input would be helpful!! Thanks
O and I have a Antec 900 case with tons of airflow... so I'm stumped.
