[SOLVED] Q9550 overclock

Hi, can anyone give me advice on safely overclocking this Q9550?
It is on a GA-G4MT-S2 motherboard with 4Gb ddr3 ram, I will also use a 4 heat pipe tower cooler from deep cool.
Any advice would help, thank you

I can't get this cpu over 2885MHz.
Once I try 2.9 it crashes.

The fps gain usually can not be extremely big with socket 775 cpus., and this mobo may be not very good for oc.
