[SOLVED] Ql fans

I’m going to get 2 pack of the 3 ql120 fans(6 in total) and I don’t wanna spend extra money on the commander pro cause I don’t care about fan speed, the parts are going to stay cool if I have 6+fans in the case. My Mobo is the b550 f non wifi version. So my question is how am I going to power them, cause there is no way my mobo has 6 fan headers.

My Corsair case has a "card" where you could connect up to 6 12v fans, it is called lightning node core, so I connect the 6 fans there and from there I connected the cable from the node to one single 4 pin connector in the mobo, maybe there is something similar

I haven’t bought that’s why I’m asking to be sure but the case is a lian li o11 dynamic xl and the mobo is the b550 f non wifi one.

Yea I’m pretty sure the fans come with the lighting node core or whatever but that’s only for rgb not for power.

You can plug the 6 fan to the lightning node core for rgb and you can use 2 to 1 splitters to plug them in your 3 chassis fan headers.

And sorry for keep asking will the psu be enough, cause I’ll have 9 fans and all the parts as listed above? I don’t wanna upgrade cause it’s 650w 80+gold but if it’s not enough then I will. Also I won’t over clock maybe xmp ram to get what I paid for but otherwise no overclocking even in the future.

I guess 650 is fine I got the same psu specs and I use a R7 2700, a rx 5700 xt, 5 fans 12v, cooler, mouse, kb, cam, keypad, 2 rgb ram sticks, still if you plan to upgrade in the future a gold 850 would last next ten years

Just to clarify if you overclock anything, you get void warranty in the other components, for example if you overclock ram and for bad luck your cpu got damage even if it was not a direct damage from the ram then your warranty is void, if you overclock a cpu let say an Amd cpu using Ryzen master your warranty is void

So how will I get my 3600mhz from ram and I also took ur advice and I’m going to buy the commander pro. At 9 fans it jus makes a lot more sense.

Ram doesn't make much of a difference, maybe 10 fps more when ocing, OC is not always stable and things could happen. I don't know your mobo that well but mine comes with some ram ocing pre-sets for best and save overclocking, you might want the best option that the mobo company recommends, with that being said, things could happen even by ocing or not ocing. My cpu is a bit old for what I need so I had to ocing it until I get a better one, no more warranty for me but as soon as I get the other one I'm turning off any ocing my system has lol

if you want better perfirmance for games or overall there is other ways like a good one is a free software called Intelligent Standby List cleaner which clears cache before ram gets overhelmed saving you from lagging
