Im in market for a laptop with good performance,im mainly looking for QM varients ,there is a guy at market and he's telling me that all QM Laptops are equipped with nvidia/amd Graphics,i think its kinda fishy...so is it true ALL QM VARIENTS COME WITH GRAPHIC CARDS?

Solution
Graphics cards can be either integrated in CPU, or external.

Whatever laptop you buy, you will get at least 1 GPU inside, whether it be the integrated or discrete, but it will be there, or laptop won't work.

What QM labelled processors are you looking at? Q = quad core, M = mobile, but there are multiple generations of such CPUs, it is impossible to tell if they all come with integrated GPUs.

Now, saying that all QM laptops have nvidia/amd graphics (discrete) that is probably true for the most part, but certainly not for all laptops. Such CPUs are usually on the higher end, more expensive, and people who buy them usually want to game a bit as well, and it is natural for them to have a discrete GPU on the side. But it has nothing to...

But it has nothing to do with the CPU itself, it is just a common sense given the market for such laptops.

Most came with dedicated gpu's but not all. Also there hasn't been a QM cpu in a long time. The highest perfromance ones atm have H,HQ or HK behind them but you also have laptops with just plain desktop cpu's in them.

Also just because a laptop has a gpu doesn't mean it's good. There are plenty examples of a high end I7 combined with something like a gt 820m or something weak like that.

Thank you for explaining ,really appreciate it

Thank you for your answer, really helped me

Most of those laptops have "switchable" graphics anyway, which means that unless using something graphically intensive, they'll default over to the power-saving onboard Intel GPU.

My 3630QM has a decent - for the time - mobile GPU, but it's not even utilized for most of what I do with the computer.
