Graphics cards can be either integrated in CPU, or external.
Whatever laptop you buy, you will get at least 1 GPU inside, whether it be the integrated or discrete, but it will be there, or laptop won't work.
What QM labelled processors are you looking at? Q = quad core, M = mobile, but there are multiple generations of such CPUs, it is impossible to tell if they all come with integrated GPUs.
Now, saying that all QM laptops have nvidia/amd graphics (discrete) that is probably true for the most part, but certainly not for all laptops. Such CPUs are usually on the higher end, more expensive, and people who buy them usually want to game a bit as well, and it is natural for them to have a discrete GPU on the side. But it has nothing to do with the CPU itself, it is just a common sense given the market for such laptops.
