Unknown without some context. What device are we talking about? What upload speed do you have? What else is competing for UPLOAD bandwidth? QOS on your router won't change download speeds in most cases.Safe to disable ? Offer anything ?
Thanks sir.I'd turn it off unless you have a combo plan that has some sort of television delivered over the Internet. Keeping it on will just be more work for the cpu for nothing otherwise.
T440s, upload speed 5, nothing, as ai know .Unknown without some context. What device are we talking about? What upload speed do you have? What else is competing for UPLOAD bandwidth? QOS on your router won't change download speeds in most cases.
QOS on a laptop is not going to benefit. The LAN bandwidth is way more than the WAN bandwidth. Having QOS on you router might benefit but not on the laptop.T440s, upload speed 5, nothing, as ai know .
I dont understand your comment. Gamers, smartphone cameras, cores on CPUs, and much more , are not long-term obsession ?Oh god, another go-around of this?
OP has a strange, long-term obsession with tinkering with his Windows install and breaking it chasing mythical performance gains. Let's try and not be enablers.
Whatever device this packet scheduler thing is on...leave it alone.Safe to disable ? Offer anything ?
If you actually have to ask that question then it's not something you need to be concerning yourself with.Safe to disable ? Offer anything ?

I think thats the use of a forum, for people to learn and solve problems.
It's a problem you made up. We have a constant stream of posts in which you are determined to mess up Windows for benefits you imagined.
In one year, I count 13 different threads you started trying to get advice on doing something you do not have the knowledge to be doing. I have two herniated discs in my back, which certainly is a problem; but I don't spam a medical forum with post after post for advice on performing surgery on my own back with a pair of scissors and a whole lot of bandages.
The problem is, that you keep asking about turning off things within the WIndows subsystem, without knowing what they do, in an effort to get better performance.I dont think is the same as you said. I just like to learn new things about software and hardware functionality. I dont want use yours, or anyones time, with no reason.I dont know a lot about computers and i try learn. Thats all.
