Is it possible to use 4 dimms on a cpu that only has two memory channels.

Will the speed decrease?
Will is bsod?

Yes it is possible.
Will it BSOD? Unknown. Is this a single four-DIMM kit? Are you trying to run high memory clocks? Is it Intel or AMD?

im using ddr3 in case that matters it is intel i3 2120 i have two 4gb sticks and two 2gb sticks from another old pc both at 1333mhz

the two 4gb stick were bought used and are not by same manufacturer and were bought separately

Older systems like yours are more forgiving. The only way to know for sure is to try it. Run MEMTEST86 for several hours to check the stability of the system. That way your Windows install won't be corrupted by bad RAM.
