I currently am running an i7-7820x with NVME drive, 2x Visiontek Radeon HD7750's and 32 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666mhz RAM. I use the computer for trading and have been having memory issues with 1 of the 2 trading programs i use. Plan on upgrading to 64gb of 3200mhz RAM. I had a few questions about the options i found on Newegg.
These 2 kits.....
CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 64GB (4 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model CMK64GX4M4C3200C16
CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 64GB (4 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model CMK64GX4M4B3200C16
are both 16-18-18-36 and close to $500. They are also on QVL for my mobo(ASUS TUF x299 Mark2.)
This kit....
G.SKILL TridentZ Series 64GB (4 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Intel Z370 Platform / Intel X99 Platform Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C15Q-64GTZSW
is 15-15-15-35. Its also on QVL for mobo and just under $400
I also found this kit...
CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 64GB (4 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Intel XMP 2.0 Desktop Memory Model CMK64GX4M4E3200C16
which is 16-20-20-38 and a lot cheaper ($259.99) then the others. But i cant figure out if its a Quad channel kit or not. Its not listed on Corsairs site or any others. Its sold as a kit of 4 but not sure if that means anything. Also cant understand why its so much cheaper then the others(maybe thats due to the worse timings?)
Trying to decide which to buy? If the last one is Quad channel then should i not be worried about higher timings and get that or should i stick with the G.Skill which is the next cheapest and also has faster timings.
Ive always tried to stick with Kingston, Corsair or Crucial when i purchase ram so if G.Skill is good then ill purchase that and not pay up for one of the first 2 choices.
Edit- Dont know how i missed this one....
Kingston Fury Renegade 64GB (4 x 16GB) DDR4 3200MHz PC4-25600 CL16 Quad Channel Kit Black KF432C16RB1K4/64
16-18-18 and $350.
Thanks in advance!
