Quad core q6600 and gtx 1050 ti

It's YouTube, so faking is always a worry.

I would strongly suspect you won't be able to. Technically, a dual-core CPU will work fairly well (http://www.techspot.com/review/1089-fallout-4-benchmarks/page5.html), or at least be able to hit 40+ FPS on the highest settings (although you'd be turning those details down with a 1050Ti), & your Q6600 is technically on par with the Pentium chip they tested with (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/cpu-hierarchy,4312.html). But it's a couple of steps down from the Core i3 minimum (https://tech4gamers.com/fallout-4-minimum-requirements-and-recommended-for-pc/). So it might work, or it might not, it's hard to tell.

I might be a bit late on this thread, but we built the secondary PC of my GF with a Q6600 G0 overclocked to 3.0, 8GB of DDR2 RAM (800MHz) and a Zotac GTX 1050ti 4GB. The PC works flawlessly. There are of course some bottlenecks in games, but Fallout 4 works fine, with the right settings you can reach up to 60 fps. She plays mostly Overwatch and League of Legends, so I'm not sure about Dishonored 2. If you expect to go over 1080p you better start looking for a new CPU, because we'll most likely upgrade her PC as well as soon as we find a good replacement.

TL DR: The Q6600 will definitely work with the GTX 1050ti.

You could try to O.C Q6600 it is pretty much fair for O.C.(I have a Q6600 at 3.1Ghz and a GTX 650 2 GB a little bit O.Ced with 8 GB DDR2 and i can handle latest tittles not Ultra graphics just playable). So i believe that you can try a GTX 1050 with an O.Ced Q6600 (or just time for upgrade cpu/mobo/ram). :) i hope to help

At userbenchmark.com the overclocked Q6600 scores about equal to the Q9505S. I'm running that with GTX1050Ti and the only issue I've seen is that some benchmarks want more than 8GB RAM with a 4GB GPU. The CPU hasn't been an issue. If going to 12GB RAM is an option I would do it. The other option would be save a few bucks and run the 2GB GTX1050. But the program may still want more RAM.

I have an eVGA 680i sli MB and a q6600 (GO) overclocked (3.6Ghz) with a asus dual gtx 1050ti with only 4GB's of ram and the userbenchmark website says it's sufficient. Maybe some games require 8GB's. Just as a test I put 8GB's in and the userbenchmark said the same thing.

I had Q6600 before I moved to E3-1231V3.

1. Head to eBay and look for second handed RAM and make your RAM to at least 8GB. 16GB would be nice too.
2. Try to OC your Q6600 and see how high your Q6600 can go. Mine was 3.3GHz stable for daily+gaming usage, I got a room heater as bonus tho'...so...extra useful for winter.
3. If you see problems due to VRAM, you can simply drop the resolution and some other settings.

Using those 3 points, you should be able to make your Q6600 better and should solve some gaming issue, if your Q6600 falls slightly below minimum requirements.
If your PC falls below minimum requirements, it does not automatically means that your PC can not run the game. It is just not guaranteed that the game will run. Meaning: You can simply try and see :)
Full upgrade plan is still recommended tho'.
