Only difference is a typo. There is no such thing as "qual core". "Quad core" is a CPU that has 4 physical cores, e.g i5-7400, i5-7500, i5-7600K, i7-7700K.

i think the OP either meant ask about dual core . or perhaps they saw a badly advertised prebuilt with a qual core . if the case is the latter then i wouldn't purchase from them as you may think you're getting a quad core and end up with a dual core !

I think its a typo by someone on a certain blogpost. I was curious and i googled it, and thats what i found. Lots of blogpost spelling out qualcore instead of quadcore.
