quad sata cables

what are quad sata power cables for? also is there anyway i can just get single sata power cables?

My motherboard came with a bunch of triple series SATA power cables. I’m guessing they’re intended to be used if you have a ton of hard drives and you want to link them up with a single cable, which I painstakingly put the effort into coaxing the cables to do and it works pretty well.
Of course though, if that’s not your thing, there’s probably a few places where you can get a singular power cable - CableMod I know has them.
