quad screen set up

hey guys im going to have triple screens for when im racing and i was wondering if i could also hook up my tv as a fourth monitor at the same time but as a single monitor it will not be extended...if so what do i need to buy i was thinking maybe i needed a hdmi splitter am i correct..reason i think this is because my gpu only has 3 out dvi x2 and hdmi i use gtx 780.so is it possible?

the 780 does support 4 screens out of the box. You DON"T want to use a HDMI Splitter. All a splitter does is take one signal and put it to two monitors so your TV will show what ever that monitor is connected to the HDMI.

If you are out of HDMI ports, and only DVI and don't need sound on the TV you can get a DVI to HDMI Adapter.

and you should be able to setup the 4th monitor as a seperate monitor. I know at least with the AMD Cards you can.

well my current set up i use hdmi to hdmi monitor 1,,,dvi to hdmi monitor 2,,and dvi to dvi monitor 3..so what is the 4th port i could use?

Ah yea a DP to HDMI is what you want if you are using it for a TV

Also make sure its a Full DP port and not a Mini DP port so you can get the right adapter
