Quadro 4000 won't let pc boot

I recently picked up a Nividia Quadro 4000 from a local flea market for 5 dollars. Not exactly reliable, but it only had a few scratches and if it doesn't work I could put it on my wall. I put it in my pc hooking up only the 6 pin power connector, not the other two that I believe are for a another optional card. I turned my pc on and the card's LED lit up green and the fan spinned but the pc just turned off, no display. I then tried it again but this time it did nothing, so I took out the card and my pc booted up just fine. I then put the card back in, but not plugging in the 6 pin power connector. The pc booted up and state on, just no display and the card's LED was now red. Tell me guys, is there any hope for this card?

Well at five dollars from a local flea, market, It was a long shot to expect it to work first time when connecting it to your PC.

You could always try doing a re heat of the card.

By that I mean a solder re flow of the Quadro 4000 card to see if it is just a few bad solder joints that are the cause as to why your pc does not power up with the card fitted in the Pci-e card slot.

It may just be a few bad solder contacts on the underside of the Gpu where it connects to the circuit board of the card.

Do a google for re flowing a graphics card in an oven.

Heck at the moment it`s clear the card does not work, but it may do after you do a re flow in and oven.
