Which Quadro 4000 ? There have been multiple generations of Quadro cards that had a 4000 model. Most of them are full height cards and wouldn't fit in a SFF case.I'm buying a quadro 4000 and I was wondering if someone could help me install it? I've never done it before and I don't think it's as easy as a plug and play. My desktop is sff and I found a good bargain for one.
The 2 gb one?Which Quadro 4000 ? There have been multiple generations of Quadro cards that had a 4000 model. Most of them are full height cards and wouldn't fit in a SFF case.
OK, that narrows it down. My confusion comes when you look at this page -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quadro Notice how many different rows are "4000".The 2 gb one?

That 4000 requires a 6 pin supplemental power plug -- https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/quadro-4000.c898
I bet your SFF power supply does not have the required connections.
It does need this 6 pin, just noticed.I believe that this is the one,

My psu is an 80 plus bronze and it doesn't seem to have any nice cables coming from it to power anything. If this certain one needs power.
You can not run the GPU without the supplemental power connection. Your Lenovo SFF and that GPU are not compatible because of the power supply. It does need this 6 pin, just noticed.
Here is a picture of it https://ibb.co/mzq7M3B
My computer doesn't have a 6 pen connector but could I still run it with the mobo only for lite gaming? Or is another gpu better for that.
Is there a smaller gpu that can run off the mobo only that could be a better option? You can not run the GPU without the supplemental power connection. Your Lenovo SFF and that GPU are not compatible because of the power supply.
