Quadro Fan Speed

I have a Quadro K4000.

The fan is very quite, i had to put my hand under it to make sure it was spinning. It does not seem to spin any faster under any load. A constant load puts it at 79c.

In spite of this it "appears" to be operating as expected, but i wasn't sure if 79c was too high. Also, i tried to find applications for changing fan speed but came up a bit short (I had to do this with my previous card, a 9800gt, that fan would also never spin up under load until I manually changed it)

The issue is that i can't seem to find any information about applications for fan speed that apply to Quadros. Nvidia doesn't seem to use there "Performance control panel" anymore and even when it did it only pointed out 200 to 500 series GTX and nForce GPUs. It now references you to a third party application, but none of them say specifically they are compatible with Quadros.

I haven't actually tried any yet because i didn't want to break anything and wanted to see if anyone else has.

Thanks

They have an enterprise app on their website and it lets you boost the clock speed and change fan speeds I think. I found it a few weeks ago and used it on my Quadro. It's meant for their nForce card or something, but it works. It gives different options in the NVIDIA control panel. I didn't use it and uninstalled it. I forget where it is on their website.

It might be here. I forget what it's called. If something is not useful to me I usually forget it instantly after deleting it. http://www.nvidia.com/object/quadro-advance-options.html

Or maybe here https://developer.nvidia.com/nvapi
