Okay. So my PC is a custom built ASUS p5g41t-m lx plus mother board. It's got an Intel Dual Core CPU. With 4 gigs of RAM. I have a CD Drive and 5 hard drives running all at once. I got a Quadro FX 580 and I throw it on, but when I do, the computer won't do anything when I turn it on. Also, while i'm thinking about it. The PSU says the "OUTPUT WATTS 400W, +5V, +3. 3V: 120WATTS". But anyway the problem in detail is, The computer works fine with the On-board graphics. But when I plug the FX 580 in, the computer will just idol, the screen doesnt do anything. I plug the screen into the onboard while the graphics card is plugged in, still nothing. I take the graphics card out, it will work just fine. Any suggestions here? Anything I should try? I also think my firmware on my motherboard is up to date as well.

The 580 calls for a 450 PSU if I remember right (and I'd look for one that runs 450 continuous) many PSUs advertise their voltage at Peak, rather than continuous so while it might be a 400, if that's peak, then continuous my be 300 or so
