Quadro K2200 VS GTX 970 For 3ds Max

Hi to all.
The question basically is, how does these cards compare for rendering. The card wont be used never for gaming. In fact I already installed the quadro on a HP proliant ml150 g9 server. The client has 2 computers for rendering, one with a GTX 770 and one with the GTX 970. Is he going to have any benefits with this server that has the Quadro K2200?
The main software is 3ds max.

Do you know if he's even using a gpu renderer? If so, the k2200 is closer to a compute power of a 750ti so will be slower. Many renderers are cpu only so gpu would not be a concern.
