[SOLVED] Quadro P620 or RX 480

Hey
Please help me with this dilemma because I cant find the answer I am looking for.
So
A friend of mine uses AutoCAD and 3ds Max as for 3D interior design.
He asked me for a GPU upgrade (he is using the igpu of a i5 10400)
So I am between a
quardo p620 2gb (since its supposedly a workstation gpu and more specialized for that type of workload)
Or
A RX 480 8GB for its raw performance compared to the quardo
Sooo any ideas??

Seeing as how the 480 has four times the VRAM, it seems like the obvious choice to me.

But the Quadros are supposedly "workstation" so i assume the performance would be better with the p620
And some threads say that the performance isn't that good with AMD

In which case it seems like neither are particularly well-suited to your friends needs.

For light use of AutoCAD and 3ds max then what cheap option is there?🤷🏻‍♂️
1650 super?
Or a used 1060?

1650 Super: it comes with Nvidia NVENC, has faster GDDR6 memory, and a better (newer) architecture.
