The people buying these dont care about games for the most part so GPU performance is really not important.

Lots of Intel and AMD mini PC's have very low end GPU's.

Qualcomm launched a new 8-core Snapdragon X model here at CES 2025 in Las Vegas as it looks to reduce the pricing of Arm-based Windows CoPilot+ laptops based on its platform down to the $600 price point to help penetrate the lucrative high-volume mainstream segment of the market.

"240% less power" ?????
Are your proofreaders mathematically illiterate?
50% less power it uses half, 75% less it uses a quarter, 99% less it uses 1/100th. 240% less is numerically impossible.

Just got a base MM M4 16Gb and the base 256GB drive for about $550.
Pretty easy/cheap to get faster than on-board NVME drive expansion too.

About equal in power or beats the Ryzen 9xxx cpu/mobo/ram bundle I was going to get at Microcenter. And includes a GPU that apparently can run AAA at 1920@60fps virtualized without problems.

OG Abit BP-6 Dual Celeron 300a and a pencil nerd here, and Windows crap and even nice Linux Mint for years are gone for MacOS good enough non-gaming actual work.

If the Base M4 turns out to be a little underpowered, I can sell it for prob 90% of purchase and get the M4 Pro or better. I'll bite my tongue and pay the Apple tax if only to never have to deal with Windows slimy crap or Linux's better but still mish-mash.

I'd like to see the math and/or other forms of calculation that led to that 240% claim...
