Hi. Im quite new into monitors, specifications, how they work and related problens. So far I've learned that IPS panels bleed while TN ones have pixel inversion and worser color representation. At first I wanted a TN 144hz, then I set my mind for an IPS(even though they are considerably more expensive).. And at this point I started reading forums - bad quality control from Asus and Acer, a lot of returned minitors(mainly ips), quite noticeable pixel inversion from Dell, along with some other rare problens. The models I was looking at were Dell S2716DG, Asus rog pg278/279q, AOC Agon AG271QG and some acer and benq models. For now im looking for a gsync monitor but im not quite sure its worth it with all those bugs.. Oh, and did I forget ghosting?
So.. If you guys know a quality monitor, for gaming and everyday use, 1440p 144hz gsync(?) go ahead and lets check it out.

P.S. - its not like ive given up yet on the nodels above or the dell one(i like its classiness) just read a lot of bad stufd about them :/

The Asus P279Q is the best in its category (144Hz IPS G-Sync) however it comes with it's problems which.I find pretty unacceptable for the price tag.
However they have improved from what I've seen
(Same as Acer, the rev.A & B were pretty bad, newer ones come with less issues)

Heard a lot of good things about the Dell, heard a lot of bad things about the AOC (which I have set my eyes on earlier).
Concerning pixel inversion I'm not quite sure. Too may contradicting reviews that I've read.
Professional reviews barely touch the topic, customer experiences come down to personal conception.
There's this one Amazon review where the guy posts a picture of pixel inversion, right? If it were looking like that I can hardly believe the screen would get that many positive reviews

If a 24'' screen is okay, take a look at the Acer XB241YU

Well.. I want to buy a ninitor that I can happily use as long as id like to. I have a TN Fujitsu 21inch or smth that ive been happy with for a long time. But now I want to improve as in also building a new pc. 1440p on 24inch doesnt look so good, and i dont want a 1080p monitor. So its 27 inch that im looking for. 100+ refresh rate at least. What else than these 4 monitors have quality?

well, the AOC Agon you mentioned, the ASUS 279Q(IPS) & 278Q(TN), the Dells (27'' & 24'') & the Acer XB271HU(27'') & YU(24'') are the only 2k/144Hz/G-Sync

BenQ XL2730Z & Zowie XL2730, ASUS MG278Q & AOC QX are their freesync counterparts

as for 2k @24'' looks bad:
my freaking phone has a 2k display (5,2'') and looks pretty awesome

https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/dell-s2716dg/ this is a throughout review of the monitor covering a lot of aspects and tests. I still havent finished it but I will. If youd like tell me what you think after having a look.
