1. What is the best 19" aperture grille monitor on the market?

2. Does enybody have the NEC FP912(does it use Dimondtron tube)? Is it supperior to the new NEC FE991?

Thx for any advice..

The FP912 is indeed superior to the FE991. I have a brochure here that says the FP912 has a better pitch than FE991.

If you want one of the best apperture grill monitors out there check out www.dell.com I bought a Sony CPD-410R there for only $290 USD plus free shipping. A Sony CPD-410R costs 399 somewhere else. Dell.com has prices that are equivalent to prices you'd see on pricewatch.com or other small business online shops. What makes Dell.com have a better deal is the limited time free shipping.

The cheapest FE991 I could find is $218 in pricewatch but plus $30-$40 in shipping so total would be around 260. At Dell.com you get it for 219 total.

I say jsuy visit Dell.com before their 20% off on monitors and free shipping promotion expires. It's the best deal I've seen around!
