[SOLVED] Quality of HEC-450TC-3WX?

Hello everyone, I was wondering if any of you knew how good or bad the HEC 450TC-3WX was? I found a listing for it on eBay new from Newegg’s store at a pretty decent price for a 450w.

It's old and cheap.

The platform is actually the predecessor to what the Corsair VS450 and CV450 use today.

There are worse PSUs on the market, but almost everything else is better.

Flip PC I would be inclined to use the cheapest thing that works. As long as it has PCIe connectors.

Bad idea? perhaps.

I had a similar 4590+570 pc and I used a W1 600w and it worked fine.

The CV is better than the HEC.

Since I don't know where you're buying the CV from and how much it costs, I cannot tell you if there's a better option for the same amount.

Cv450 is $60 ish of Newegg. Which is more expensive than i’d like.
$50ish price range maybe?

But also the TT smart Is more expensive than this HEC unit...

Not to mention this HEC unit has all black cables... which I know is a plus for PC flips as looks do matter quite a bit.

The "Smart" is actually WORSE than either the Corsair or HEC.

Just get the HEC and call it a day. It's not a bomb. I've seen system builders use a lot worse.

Okay awesome. That’s what I wasn’t thinking of doing. And I haven’t ever used a TT smart so idk what it’s like.
