As from title, will a quard channel RAM works on a Gigabyte z370p d3 motherboard?

From my own research, the product page on Gigabyte web-site only mention dual channel. However there're 4 RAM slots on the board. I just wondering.

A quad channel kit will work in dual channel mode. The number of "channels" is dependent on the CPU not the number of slots on the motherboard. In your case there would be two DIMMs per channel with dual channels.

Quad channel mode is supported on server boards and high end enthusiast boards.
Gigabyte z370p d3 doesn't support quad channel. 4 ram modules will work in dual channel mode.
