Question about 1440p

Is 1440p a worth while upgrade I still use 1080p right now and I plan on upgrading my gpu soon to a gtx 970 so would everything run fine at that resolution

I think 1440 is good it should run fine on a single 970 not maxing out all settings in all games but should be very playable.

1440p is worth the upgrade and you will easily get 60+ FPS on medium settings with a single gtx 970 on most games
