Question about 144hz and lower FPS

Hi, I'm thinking about buying a 144hz monitor (specifically the Benq xl2411z) mainly to play Fps games like Csgo. My question though is that in games like arma 3 where it's very hard to get around 60 fps on very populated servers will running lower fps (around 30) cause stuttering and low performance on the 144hz monitor?
Btw my graphics card is the GTX 750 Ti

No, it will be totally normal if you don't reach the full 144fps.

Just like on a 60Hz screen.
