Question about 2 sets of g-skill ram

Hi,

I have an ASRock Z77 Extreme4 with an i5 3750k. I currently have 8 gigs of this g.skill ram installed

I'm looking at adding more ram, and I will probably do a bit of overclocking, though nothing drastic. Newegg has this currently on sale:

Will it make much difference if I go with the stuff on sale?

the newer ram is slightly faster clock speed. the timming is not the same. it close to the other ram. the newer ramshould slow down to 1600 speed fine. if the new ram has an error have gsill swap it out wiht the other sticks.
