[SOLVED] question about 2666mhz ram in 2400mhz mobo

guys i got mobo that supports 2400mhz ram and wanted to know if anything will go bad if i stick 2666mhhz or will it just put it on 2400mhz thanks

Again the same will apply to yourself my friend, if one person's works, it doesn't mean yours will. Every system is different :)
So unfortunately even if this does work for OP, it might not do the same for yourself.
Because I also have a H110M chipset based motherboard.
Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2PT. That's why I was asking him.

Yes but the same logic still applies my friend. Even with the same model motherboard :)

PCBs and Memory has very delicate manufacturing processes, so no one component is every really exactly the same or operates in exactly the same way.
