[SOLVED] Question about a cell phone setup

I want to purchase Kyocera DuraMax E4255 PTT Rugged Black cell phone (unlocked from Amazon) and put my sim card from Consumer Cellular in it. My current flip phone is being dropped in a few months from their system due to upgrades...so I have to find a new phone.

Does anyone know if this Kyocera phone can be accommodated? It does not come with a sim card of its own and is supposed to be unlocked.

I looked up and https://www.consumercellular.com/blog/asked-answered-unlocked-gsm-phone/ if you can find a GSM version of that phone then yes it should work. However on amazon I only am seeing Sprint models for that phone.

As another resource for matching specific phones to specific carriers in specific countries, I have found the Kimovil Frequency Checker both comprehensive and pretty much bulletproof in what it tells you.

I've used it a lot when trying to determine what third party unlocked phones will actually work on T-Mobile.
